Real Madrid has won a record 10 Euroleague titles. They have also won the FIBA Basketball Champions League twice and a series of other European-wide trophies.

The Real Madrid team is at a higher level this season, and the self-confidence of the players has reached a high level. However, it is still very early in the season and they have some injury problems that are a concern for the team.

Real Madrid

Real Madrid are one of the most successful clubs in European football. They have won the Champions League a record fourteen times and they have also won the UEFA Cup twice.

Real started the 2010-11 season by winning its first ever UEFA Super Cup in a 2-1 win over Manchester United and the 2017-18 campaign saw them top the Spanish league table before winning the Copa del Rey and beating Barcelona in the Champions League semi-finals. They then defeated Sevilla 3-0 to secure their 30th Spanish league title, with Los Blancos’ talismanic forward Raul scoring twice.

The first quarter was a struggle with Monaco’s defence being too leaky, especially in the paint. But with Hezonja (13 points) and Llull on court, Madrid was able to take a lead.

But Monaco didn’t let this opportunity pass, they came back with a strong performance in the second half and won the game thanks to their defense, good passing and great ball movement. It was a very difficult game for both teams but with a difference of 18 points, the home side was able to take advantage of that and stayed at the top of the league.

Mike James

In this EuroLeague matchup, Monaco rolled over Real Madrid 95 – 94 in one of the most exciting and thrilling games of the season. The game started off with Monaco taking the lead, and this lead would remain intact until the final buzzer sounded.

James was the hero in this game, racking up 28 points including an impressive four-point play in overtime. His performance helped his team earn a huge victory over Real, which halted a six-game winning streak for the Spanish side.

The game was a battle of two strong defences and it took some time before the teams could really get to grips with each other. However, Hezonja (22 points) and Musa (24 points) paved the way for Real to take an early lead, while Deck, Yabusele and Okobo all helped narrow the gap to a mere six points at the half-way point.

As the game moved into the third quarter, the battle got more intense. Both teams had a chance to score and this led to some excellent plays by both teams. In particular, Hezonja hit a couple of three-pointers in a row to give his side a +5 advantage with just over a minute left in the period.

Ouattara

Ouattara is a former president of Ivory Coast, the world’s top cocoa producer. He was first elected in 2010 and served as president until the end of his third term in 2020. He has ruled the country with relative stability since then but has been subject to repeated attacks and accusations of political corruption.

Ouattara has also faced challenges from the opposition, led by ex-President Laurent Gbagbo and former ally Henri Konan Bedie. The two men supported Ouattara in 2010 and he was re-elected in 2015 but their alliance broke apart last year.

The Ivory Coast has been plagued by political instability, which has caused the death of dozens of people over the past decade. The 2010 election was disputed by the opposition, who called it a fraud and accused Ouattara of violating the constitution that limits presidential terms to two.

After a career in the International Monetary Fund, Ouattara returned to Cote d’Ivoire and was appointed as Prime Minister in 1990. He was a leading member of President Felix Houphouet-Boigny’s government and wrote several books on economic policy, including Integration and growth in a globalized economy, published by the IMF.
